Eventide Oyster Co is owned and operated by Big Tree Hospitality in Portland, Maine. There are two locations: Portland, Maine, and Fenway, Massachusetts. The Fenway location is within a 5 minute walk of Fenway Park, situated on the ground floor of a new apartment complex. The restaurant has very little seating, though the ambiance was lively.
The Eventide Lobster Roll is served on a small, approximately 6"x4" cutting board. It is difficult to overlook its diminutive size, which sets the wrong mood for the diner. Yet despite its small stature, there was much to enjoy — the bun is lusciously soft with a flavorful butter coating. The amount of lobster was generous though limited by the overall size of the sandwich, and seemed fresh.
Our only regret: not getting a second.
